Laurie MacBrown Photography has an amazing service model that takes the pain and anxiety out of the photography experience. As a 54 year old professional woman in my middle adult years, I have been really dissatisfied previously with pictures that haven't looked like me or reflected who I am as I see myself. I went to Laurie looking for fresh head shots for myself and my husband, and some beautiful photographs of us as a couple. We got so many great pictures, we had trouble narrowing them down! The wardrobe and beauty prep guides made me feel confident and equipped for a great phot shoot, and the consultation with Laurie ahead of time put me at ease and gave me a chance to tell her what was important to me. She listens well. At the studio, Barbara did a great job on my hair and makeup throughout the shoot, providing different looks for different outfits and dress codes, from casual to business to formal. She assisted me in selecting jewelry and accessories, and generally ensured I was supported throughout my wardrobe changes. The reveal was a lot of fun and gave me what I was looking for -- a variety of pictures that all looked like my husband and me, captured our personalities and spirits, give us renewed confidence in our professional images, and some really gorgeous, romantic pictures together that we and our kids will treasure for years to come. I highly recommend this luxury experience! You'll want to purchase lots of pictures, so budget accordingly. This leveled-up photography is not inexpensive, but it is absolutely worth it!

I do want to thank you again for the amazing day. I still look at the email you sent with behind the scenes and it just brings tears to my eyes of how beautiful I looked and felt. It made me realize that I am enough and really worthy of this experience and a little bit of vanity isn't a bad thing. I have never done special things for myself and I am changing that this year. I really appreciate all you did and can't wait to try this again in a few years!
